What is LENS Neurofeedback?

The Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) was developed in the early 1990s by Len Ochs, PhD, a Psychologist in California. LENS is a computer-based software program that works by listening to your brainwaves through censors, one on each ear and the scalp. The censors pick up key information about your brainwaves and interrupts dysfunctional brainwave patterns - allowing your brain to reboot.

Results may include a reduction or elimination in symptoms, increased energy, greater awareness, improved functioning.

LENS was created as an alternative to medication for brain-based problems. It is safe and effective for kids and adults, showing significant and beneficial results in most people.

What To Expect from

LENS Neurofeedback Sessions

Typically a patient has an average of 15 sessions that last a few seconds to a few minutes; however, benefits may be noticed after the first session and tend to be long-lasting, with the exception of progressive neurological disease. Sessions are conducted in-person with the patient sitting or lying down. Electrodes are either placed on the body or on the earlobes and scalp.

LENS Neurofeedback can be beneficial for relieving symptoms related to:

  • Concussions, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs), Stroke

  • ADD/ADHD, Difficulty Concentrating

  • Addiction, Substance Use Disorder

  • Chemo-related brain (fog) symptoms

  • Stress, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD & other mental health diagnoses
